There the sugilite appears in deep purple, rough masses or veins of rock. Mostly these masses are banded or a mixture of sugilite and other minerals like Braunite (black), pectrolite (grey), baryte (white) and chalcedony (blue) Occasionally you can find Sugilith also in India or Japan
