The apatite, also called "deceiver", got its name from its similarity to other minerals.
Large deposits can be found in Brazil, Canada and Russia.
Apatite occurs in all colours, mostly it is mostly greenish, blue or yellow.

As a healing stone the apatite is called the "mineral of success".
It promotes motivation, independence and determination, stabilises listlessness, has a restorative effect and mobilises energy reserves.
